The watch has a circular face design with a good display. The 360 x 360 pixel Super AMOLED display gives a 302ppi pixel density. It has the following sensors – the heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, ambient light sensor and GPS for 3G model. The smartwatch is also water resistant.
The company alongside announced that the Gear S2 will work with Android devices running Android 4.4 and above and giving out the list of popular handsets compatible with it like Motorola Moto X (Gen 2), Nexus 6, Oppo R7 etc.
The best part is that the circular dial gives a watch feel unlike its rival Apple Watch and also has a longer battery life of two to three days.
